Rangnick on Varane’s form
Man Utd received a lot of criticism after being kicked out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid.
Sharing after the defeat of Man Utd, midfielder Raphael Varane wrote on his personal Instagram page: ” We will not point fingers, fight or complain.”
“We can reflect on the season when the battle is over. The atmosphere last night was unbelievable, we will fight for everything for this club, until the last minute of the season. Defeat . is the foundation of victory, “ Varane concluded.
Having enjoyed a successful decade with Real Madrid – where he has won four Champions League titles – Varane moved to Man Utd last summer, for almost £40m. The arrival of Varane along with rookies like Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo made Red Devils fans very excited at the time.
However, towards the end of the season, Man Utd revealed more problems. In November, the Old Trafford team had to bid farewell to coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. After that, interim coach Ralf Rangnick came to take over, but it seems that he still has not found a winning formula for this team. The Red Devils’ remaining goal between now and June is to try to stay in the top four, although this will be challenging because Arsenal are in good form.
